My first South Shore Striped Bass

Long story short I have been spoiled fishing the race and plum gut for 20 years. I recently moved here and have been hounding Pete at Suff. Tackle to put me on some Stripers. I bothered Pete like he had a crystal ball, but helped me with patience and and care. I landed 2 36" bass, my first on the South Shore. Great job Peter! and hail Suffolk Bait and Tackle! -

Capt Tom Boniberger took his "KRISTA" SE of the F.I. Inlet saturday to 155' water - trolled 3 blue fins to 45lbs. along with false albies. On the way back he stopped at the Linda wreck and limited out on black sea bass.

Friday night Mike Gervasi surf casting at Robert Moses field five had 36 1/2 lb Bass using bunker chunk

Friday in the afternoon Steve Saganic fishing by himself had four bass up to 25 lbs on spot released all but one for dinner . He was fishing inside by Demo

JEFF SCHNEIDER, JOHN JOYCE AND STEVE WARDELL HAD 5 BASS AT THE WEST BAR ON THE OUTGOING WATER KEEPING 3 FOR THE TABLE. THE CREW USED CLAM CHUM AND FRESH SKIMMER CLAMS.
